On the Move

Today I'm headed down south.

I'm about to get my southern belle on.  And see my family.

I'm beyond excited. Espeically since it's so so so warm.

And like any girl I did a little shopping for the trip. Duh.

Mother Love

I love my mom. Times one million thousand hundred. She's amazing.

She just turns more and more into a best friend as the years go by.

I couldn't ask for a better mom.

Plus, who else would teach me to braid?!

I also gained another mother. She is pretty rad herself.

Spoils me rotten. Encourages me through life and laughs alot. 

Yea for mother in laws!!

Switch Up

There are days here and there that I have to run from one job to the other

{oh the joy of two jobs!}

I try to figure out a way to make a dressier look somehow ready for nanny duty.

Yes, sometimes I change in the car. ;)

I've been super bad at posting the past two weeks. Whoops.

Laced with Spring

For the first time, I'm pretty excited about spring. 

Usually I'm so pumped for summer I want spring to just end.

Although I do wish it was warmer, I'm embracing spring this year.

Goin' all girly and lacey and flowery...

Feelin' it.

I even took my hair back to second grade... 

I started with half up then realized I wanted it all up-

But was to lazy to start over.

The result - second grade hair that I fell in love with all over again.

This is the baseball tee I bough last week... thought I might as well dress it up and wear it to work.

Apparently this look is labeled yuppie. Thanks co-worker.

But this is so so comfy - I'll be wearing it often.

And funny story about this skirt... My bff got married last Sept and snagged us bridesmaids super cute dresses from Gap. However, after the amazing wedding day ended, I saw this dress as a skirt.

Thankfully she didn't mind me chopping the top off and now I can get much more wear out it! 

Plus I think of her every time I wear it. Love my bff!

Black White and Pink All Over

I feel like being a total girly girl when spring hits. Give me a dress and pink, please.

I found this scarf while thirfting with the hubs a while back.

In love with it.

Plus throw in some jellies... Everything turns playful!
