I recently joined the Milwaukee Bloggers Group and was quickly invited to a local fashion show styled by one of the girls, Alexis Rose. (Check out her blog http://alexisrosestyle.com/ !)
This was my first ever fashion show and really so. much. fun.
The designer, Timothy Westbrook, is fairly genius. This guy uses on a loom to form his designs into being. He even weaves cassette tape in with the thread, giving the material a nice little sheen. Genius.
The event was held at The Pfister Hotel in downtown Milwaukee. I had never been there before, but it is absolutely beautiful. Totally forgot I was in Milwaukee, very Victorian beauty. The models and the designs seemed to fit right in with the lux surroundings.

Some stylish atattendees I met including Dixie-Kuppe (whole lotta red...)

(Sweater Anthopologie, Skirt Forever21, Belt J.Crew, Necklace Forever21, Tights J.Crew, Boots Thrifted, Clutch Vintage)
It was such a fun night filled with fun people. I invited the hubs, who invited some friends to join. I was so glad because Dawn-Marie really pushed me to get out and snap pictures and meet new people. Such a great wing woman. We managed to meet a drag queen, Dixie Kuppe, which totally brought me back to Seattle. Totally made the night even more great.
I also realized that one of these days I really, really, really need to invest in a legit camera. True story.
I wish I knew you were there, I was one of the models in the white vintage gown and fur/cassette woven jacket. Great pictures, I am glad you had fun!
